CYBERTONGUE®
The CYBERTONGUE® System is a first-of-kind piece of scientific instrumentation to screen out raw milk containing the bacterial protease “AprX” that survives UHT-milk heat treatment. With laboratory quality results in minutes - not days - it is a disruptive technology in dairy diagnostics. 

PPB Technology’s challenge was to develop the original CSIRO invention into a commercial system, ready to scale. We collaborated with both PPB and Trike to derisk, redevelop, and design an award-winning product platform which included bespoke electronics hardware, intuitive mechanics, and a companion software suite for device usage and data capture.
Rae Heat Pad
Scarlet’s rae is a slim, wireless, rechargeable silicone heat pad designed to give discreet, targeted relief from period pain with a curved, body-hugging shape. Heating to 50°C for up to 5 hours per charge, and it can be worn under clothes or tucked into Scarlet’s pocket undies.

We guided Scarlet through the product development process and managed the entire program from idea to production. We worked closely alongside Trike to design an intuitive, user-friendly experience for form and function, navigated challenging regulatory requirements, and enabled complex transfer into high-volume production for a successful launch.
Plant Light Nº1
A unique solution to bring sunlight indoors, Ample’s PL1 was a Kickstarter campaign success. We developed a variety of boutique solutions inside the product in an aim to keep the design innovative, but low-cost.
Hexanode Environmental Monitor
SiteHive is a device and software that measures the environmental impact of noise, dust, and vibration, as well as water and weather, all in one station. Bringing scalable IoT into the built environment, the technology we helped develop simplifies workflow, improves on-site compliance, and adds value across the chain. We are proud to have helped enable one of Australia's greatest hardware startup successes.
Multifunction Mixer Tapware

Partners: Hosico Engineering and Bayly Group

The Billi Multifunction Mixer Tap integrates with Billi's range of boiling, chilled, sparkling and mains hot/cold water. Partnering with Hosico Engineering, we provided the full product development lifecycle for Billi’s flagship product. A first-of-kind water dispenser, we designed a sleek electronics package utilising the latest manufacturing techniques, while also maintaining compatibility with Billi’s existing infrastructure.

Force Hook Strength Tester

Client: Force Hooks

Force Hook is a new standard in sports science and isometric testing equipment. The company's mission is to support the needs of strength and conditioning professionals. We worked closely with the Force Hook team to create a compact, high-precision, and battery powered product for measuring strength and asymmetries through intricate joint functions. The device has a measurement frequency of 1000Hz and resolution of 1 Newton. Data is securely stored on cloud servers and display via a mobile app. Charging is by USB C and delivers a battery life of 8 hours continuous operation.
