Xentronics is excited to announce both a new look with the relaunch of our website and an ambitious new commitment to raising the bar on better collaboration in product development.
Where others pay lip service to collaboration, we are implementing strategic plans to formalise and continually improve how we collaborate with every stakeholder in the projects we deliver. The changes will be enacted at a fundamental level – examining every business and engineering process, as well as how we communicate, manage projects, and add value beyond our core services.
In the spirit of collaboration, we have packed the website with helpful tips and examples of how better collaboration can deliver better outcomes. In fact, that’s our new motto – “Better Collaboration Delivers”. It’s our promise to you when you start a product development project with Xentronics.
Understanding Your Product Development Challenges
This strategic direction stems from primary research with customers who told us what they valued most about Xentronics and what their pain points had been with other suppliers in the past. The overarching concern of clients was the lack of certainty arising from the inherent complexity of product development, particularly regarding cost and timeframes. Managing risks associated with multiple project participants, evolving requirements, and other non-engineering activities requires a reimagining of agile methods to suit hardware-oriented products.
Our CEO, Scott Williams, said: “Since founding the company in 2019, I have always taken the approach of being super flexible and doing whatever it took to deliver great outcomes for clients.
“The research brought up similar touchpoints around getting the right balance at every decision point, the need for more effective communication, transparency and accountability, and more. Put all of that together and we see it’s all about better collaboration.
“So that is what we are doubling down on. Until recently, we plan to build on our reputation as the easiest product development service provider around.”
Announcing The Xentronics Product Development Community
Xentronic’s strategic plan calls for a number of specific initiatives that we will reveal as we implement them over time. However, the first initiative is the launch of The Xentronics Product Development Community. We will be hosting a range of events and activities all designed to improve best practices in electronic product development. There will be a combination of educational events, collaborative thought leadership activities and peer-to-peer support mechanisms where you can connect with other like-minded product developers. Internally, the initial focus is on consolidating the collaborative culture across a growing team, introducing better collaboration concepts to existing and new clients.
